JYN Robbins Family Campus
Toronto, Canada
The Robbins Family Campus marks a powerful new chapter for the Jewish Youth Network (JYN), expanding its mission to empower and uplift the next generation of Toronto’s Jewish youth. Spearheaded by Rabbi Shmuli Nachlas and his wife Chani, JYN has spent over two decades creating welcoming, dynamic environments where teens can grow mentally, physically, and spiritually.
This new facility is more than just a youth center—it’s a fully immersive experience. Designed as a place where the environment itself fosters inspiration and connection, the campus includes cutting-edge amenities such as state-of-the-art music and art rooms, a rooftop patio, outdoor pavilion, classrooms, and a vibrant kosher café named Manna. These features are intentionally designed to spark creativity, promote engagement, and build community.
To bring Rabbi Shmuli’s visionary concept to life, JYN brought together a remarkable team of collaborators, including Selbert Perkins Design for environmental graphics, Dvira Interiors for interior design, and The Click Co. for Jewish cultural integration. Together, they crafted a storytelling experience where every wall of the space “speaks,” echoing timeless Jewish teachings through modern, relatable design. These messages are rendered in contemporary language and style, making values like kindness, purpose, and resilience both accessible and unforgettable.
The result is an environment where young people feel energized and inspired—whether they’re playing basketball, relaxing in the café, or participating in a program. Surrounded by vibrant colors, meaningful stories, and powerful imagery like the Western Wall, the Robbins Family Campus is a modern-day celebration of Jewish heritage and values.
Selbert Perkins Design is honored to support JYN’s transformative mission, helping create a space that’s not only visually compelling but deeply impactful—a true sanctuary for youth to thrive.
