Downtown L.A. MyFig Branded Signage Revealed

In collaboration with Troller Mayer, Melendrez, Gehl Architects, and KPFF, IBI Group, SPD created a branded signage and wayfinding system for the MyFigueroa Streetscape in Downtown Los Angeles. The redesign transforms the four-mile stretch into a safer and more navigable transportation corridor for pedestrians, bikers, transit riders, and drivers.

Linking Expo Park and USC to Downtown, MyFigueroa improvements include the WalkFig, BikeFig, and RideFig logos and banner system, intelligible wayfinding and easily maneuverable bike paths. This project exemplifies SPD’s commitment to supporting Mayor Eric Garcetti’s Great Streets Initiative by enhancing the City’s walkability, improving public transportation and beautifying our streetscapes.
