Collaborating with MIT’s Mathematics Department, SPD designed a donor recognition program for the Simons Building, Building 2 of the iconic Main Group, the complex of connected buildings that comprised the MIT campus when it first moved to Cambridge in 1916. Our exterior and interior signage includes the building naming and identity signage and interior signage for tiered levels of recognition, including the fourth floor, a modern design that manages to blend well with the Beaux Arts building design. SPD’s program contributed to the establishment of campus donor recognition standards.
