Constructed in 1927 and revitalized in 2007 by the Cordish Companies and AMC Entertainment, Inc., the Midland Theatre plays a vital role to the Kansas City Power & Light District. The downtown entertainment destination boasts state-of-the-art sound, lighting, and amenities for live concerts and events. Restoration of the theatre includes six all-digital movie auditoriums, cinema suites with food servers and plush seating, and an upscale dine-in restaurant/bar.
